Karasai ( Kazakh. Karasai , until 1993 - Kuybyshevo [1] ) - a village in the Zhambyl district of the Almaty region of Kazakhstan . It is part of the Karasu rural district. The KATO code is 194253400 [2] .

In 1999, the village population was 190 people (89 men and 101 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 285 people lived in the village (141 men and 144 women) [3] .
