Biography
Axel Henny was born in Oslo ( Norway ) [1] . Since adolescence, has been the subject of bullying among peers due to frequent violations of the law. Being capable of creative activity, he was engaged in graffiti , which was prohibited by the laws of the state [1] . In 1998, he entered the National Norwegian Academy of Theater for the fourth time [2] . After graduating in 2001, he worked at the Warth Theater ( Molde ), and then at the New Oslo Theater , where he played the role of Hamlet several times [3] . However, he became widely known as a film actor. For the first time he played the main role in the film " Joni Wang " by Jens Lien [4] . Then he began to be actively invited to work in cinema and television. In 2003, he played a supporting role in the film " Friend ", and the next year made his debut as a director of the film " One ". The film attracted the attention of Scandinavian film critics and brought Axel to a new level. The tape brought him an Amanda Award and a European Academy Award nomination. Since 2005, he began acting in social advertising. The historical drama “ Max Manus ” has strengthened his credibility in the film community, due to the high praise of film critics and the big box office. His work in the film " Bounty Hunters " gained wide popularity at world film festivals and gave Henny the opportunity to contact the world film community. After such a successful start, Axel is invited to the multi-million blockbuster Heracles , where he plays an important supporting role.
