Biography
Edie Erlisa Brickell was born on March 10, 1966 in Oak Cliff ( Dallas , USA ). Edie graduated from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and Southern Methodist University.
Edie began her musical career in 1985 , becoming a member of the music group New Bohemians. In 1990-1994, Brickell was the musical guest of the comedy show “ Saturday Night Live ”.
Since May 30, 1992, Edie has been married to musician Paul Simon (born 1941). The couple has three children: the son of Adrian Edward Simon (born on December 28, 1992), the daughter of Lulu Belle Simon (born in March 1995) and another son, Gabriel Elijah Simon (born in May 1998) [1] .
