Emblem Description

"In an azure (blue, blue) field, a silver falcon flying in a sash (visible from the back) above the green tip, with an anti-composite black and silver finish."

The coat of arms of the Novosokolnichesky district can be reproduced in two equally acceptable versions:

- without the free part;
- with the freestyle part - a quadrilateral adjacent from the inside to the upper and left edges of the emblem of the Novosokolnichesky district with the emblems of the Pskov region reproduced in it. The version of the coat of arms with the free part is applied after appropriate legislative consolidation of the procedure for including the free part in the coat of arms of the municipalities of the Pskov region with the image of the coat of arms of the Pskov region.

Symbolization Justification

The city of Novosokolniki appeared as a railway station, along which the movement of trains was opened in 1901. This feature is reproduced in the coat of arms by a heraldic figure with a black and white belt, which is consonant with the image of railways on maps and diagrams.

The name of the station itself, and since 1925 the city of Novosokolniki is reflected by a flying falcon, which makes the coat of arms a vowel . Vowers, in which the figures indicate the name or the name of the owner, are considered the most traditional for heraldry.

The green tip indicates a developed agricultural activity in the region.

Silver (white) in heraldry symbolizes purity, nobility, peace, mutual cooperation.

Azure (blue, blue) in heraldry is a symbol of sincerity, honor, glory, devotion, truth and virtue.

Green color - symbolizes nature, hope, spring and health.

The black color in heraldry symbolizes prudence, wisdom, modesty, and honesty.

The coat of arms was developed with the assistance of the Union of Heralds of Russia .
