Biography

Ilya Govzich was born on April 18, 1982 in the city of Zhodino . A talent for music was discovered by Ilya in childhood, when he was sent to a music school to learn to play the piano. In 2000 he graduated from the Republican Lyceum at the Belarusian State Academy of Music with a degree in choral conducting. In 2008, he graduated from the Belarusian State Autonomous Academy of Music with a degree in solo singing (class of People's Artist of the Republic of Belarus , Professor P.V. Ridiger) and choral conducting (class of Professor A. P. Zelenkova ).

In 2008-2009, he completed an internship at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan .

In December 2009, he performed the part of the Great Priest in a concert performance by Mozart ’s opera Idomen, with the Moscow Chamber Orchestra Musica Viva, conducted by A. I. Rudin . In February 2010, he performed in the Tybalt part in a concert performance of Gounod ’s opera Romeo and Juliet with the New Russia State Symphony Orchestra conducted by Benjamin Pionnier in the Concert Hall. P.I. Tchaikovsky .

From 2009 to 2011 - a member of the Youth Opera Program of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia .

Since 2011, she has been a soloist with the Saratov Opera House , as well as a regular guest soloist with the Bolshoi Theater of Russia and the Samara Opera House . He constantly tours the cities of Russia and neighboring countries (Yakutsk, Minsk, Chelyabinsk and many others).

Collaborated with conductors: Antonello Alemandi, Benjamin Pigne, Ginteras Rinkevichus , Zoltan Peshko , Pavel Sorokin, Anton Grishanin, Vasily Sinaisky , Yuri Kochnev , Felix Korobov , Alexander Anisimov.
