Biography

Joseph Khimsun Nittayo was born on May 29, 1908 in Banrak, Thailand. December 21, 1935 was ordained a priest .

On September 13, 1963, Pope Paul VI appointed Joseph Khimsun Nittayo as auxiliary bishop of the diocese of Bangkok and titular bishop of Obba . On October 20, 1963, Joseph Khimsun Nittayo was ordained bishop by Cardinal Michael Michai Kitbunchu , accompanied by Bishop Michel-Auguste-Marie Langer of Nakhon Sawan .

Joseph Khimsun Nittayo participated in the I, II and III sessions of the Second Vatican Council .

December 18, 1965 was appointed Archbishop of Bangkok. He retired on December 18, 1972.

He died on October 2, 1998.
