Biography
Born in the city of Akmolinsk in the Kazakh SSR in a family of workers. In 1973 she graduated from the journalism department of the philological faculty of Rostov State University . She worked as a journalist in Armenia . She headed the department in the magazine "Literary Armenia".
In 1997–2001 - worked for the Don-TR GTRK in Rostov-on-Don , managed the Provincial Salon program. For the shooting of the film “Clean Thursday,” the creative team of the film was fired by the leadership of “Don-TR” [1] .
In 2000–2012, as a permanent screenwriter of the documentarian Alexander Rastorguev, she took part in the creation of the films “Mommies”, “Maundy Thursday”, “Wild, Wild Beach. The heat of the gentle "," I love you "," I do not love you "and others. As a co-author of the picture “Wild, wild beach. The heat of the gentle ”(2006) was awarded a special jury prize at the XIX International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam [2] , and participation in the work on the tape“ Malki and Nurse ”(2008) was awarded with a special prize from the Artdokfest jury [3] . Speaking about the creative tandem of Rastorguev and Baranzhieva, film expert Viktor Matizen noted that their talent "consists of several things: 1) the ability to choose nature and so get comfortable with it, that the pre-chamber reality seems to be undermined, 2) to look out for this reality that it cannot to see numerous amateurs with video cameras and 3) to mount individual pieces of the captured reality into a single and shocking whole ” [4] .
Since December 2012 he has been working on the “Reality” project (together with Alexey Pivovarov , Alexander Rastorguev , Pavel Kostomarov , Dmitry Kubasov and Antoine Kattin ), holds a casting, searches for potential heroes of the project [5] .
