Maikan ( Kazakh. Mayқan ) is a village in the Alakol district of the Almaty region of Kazakhstan . It is part of the Zhylandinsky rural district. The KATO code is 193455400 [1] .

In 1999, the village population was 351 people (178 men and 173 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 102 people lived in the village (54 men and 48 women) [2] .
