Zhaypak ( kaz. Zhaypaқ , before 199? - Communism [2] ) - a village in the Alakol district of the Almaty region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center and the only settlement of the Zhaipak rural district. The KATO code is 193453100 [3] .

In 1999, the population of the village was 1933 people (986 men and 947 women) [4] . According to the 2009 census , 1564 people lived in the village (794 men and 770 women) [4] .
