Amoroso ( Italian: amoroso ) is an Italian musical term for a shade of tenderness that should be given to a piece of music that is performed. The pace of amoroso is slow and does not allow a sharp performance. [one]
Instead of amorosos, fragments were sometimes indicated by the word “amabile” [1] .
Also a performance full of bliss, passion, longing, requiring a slow movement; in dramatic art, “Amoroso Primo” corresponded to the name of the first lover [2] .
