He played in 1947–1960 for the Dynamo basketball club (Moscow) [1] .

In 1951-1959 was part of the USSR national basketball team . European Champion 1953, 1957 Silver medalist of the 1952 and 1956 Olympic Games (captain of the national team). Bronze medalist of the European Championship in 1955 [2] . USSR Champion 1948.

In 1963-1969 and 1977-1980 coach of the men's team of the USSR. Coach of the USSR national team at the Olympics 1964, 1968, 1980. From 1981 until his retirement, he was the coach of youth and youth teams. Awarded the Order "Badge of Honor" and the medal " For Labor Valor " [3] .

Ozerov in the USSR national team for the first time took part in the World Championship in 1959 .
