History

Three major games in the series have been released.

Max Payne , the first game in the series, was released on July 23, 2001, and was ported a year later by Rockstar London to the Playstation 2 and Xbox . The game does not have cut scenes (in-game video): the development of the plot is served through stylized comics. The game was developed by the Finnish studio Remedy Entertainment . In 2003, Rockstar Games ported Max Payne to Game Boy Advance .

Max payne 2: the fall of max payne stories telling a story. The Fall of Max Payne was originally supposed to also be released by 3D Realms, but in the end it was still published by Rockstar Games on October 15, 2003 on personal computers and a year later on consoles (again ported to Rockstar London).

In 2008, the film adaptation of the games in the series was released. “ Max Payne ” is a thriller directed by John Moore.

In 2012, Rockstar Games released Max Payne 3 , which was developed by Rockstar Vancouver. The game was released in May 2012, and on Windows - June 1 of the same year. In addition to the storyline, Max Payne 3 has a multiplayer mode.

The first game of the series was reissued for mobile devices running iOS and Android: on April 12, 2012, a version for iOS was released , and on June 14 for Android .

Story

The scene of Max Payne is New York . Max Payne - the protagonist of the game; a cop taking revenge for his murdered family.

Max Payne 2 continues the story of the first part about a runaway undercover cop accused of murder.

The action of Max Payne 3 is transferred to Brazil, where the main character works as a bodyguard.
