Ulbroka ( Latvian: Ulbroka ) is a settlement in the central part of Latvia , the administrative center of Stopinsky Krai (since 2004 ). Until July 1, 2009, it was part of the Riga region .

Ulbroka is located at the crossroads of the roads P4 Riga - Ergli and P5 Ulbroka - Ogre. The Pikyurga River and its left tributary Daugulupite flow through the village.
The distance to the border of Riga is 3 km, to Salaspils - 15 km, to Ogre - 26 km.
History
The modern settlement is located on the territory that once belonged to the Ulbrock estate. In memory of the revolutionaries, victims of the punitive expedition during the First Russian Revolution (1905-1907), at the entrance to the village there is a monument by sculptor J. Zarins (1963).
Ulbrok has an extensive trading network, the Agricultural Engineering Research Institute of the Agricultural University of Latvia , a secondary school, a music and art school, a children's preschool educational institution “Pienenīte”, a Culture House, a library, an open stage, a paramedic, a pharmacy, and a post office [1] .
