Club career
Zelaya began his career in the capital " Olympia ". In 1996 he made his debut in Paraguayan Example . In his second season, he won the Paraguay Championship . As part of Olimpia, he became a four-time champion, winning the Paraguay championship three more times in a row. In 2001, Nelson played for Cerro Porteno , in which he became the champion for the fifth time. In 2002, he returned to Olimpia and won the Libertadores Cup with her. Selaya 2002/2003 spent in the Spanish “ Recreativo ”, but in the summer he returned to the “Olympia” for the third time and helped her win the South American Recop .
