Story
The postman puts a letter in Jerry's mailbox, and near the mailbox he puts a parcel and whistles. Tom comes to the whistle and thinking that this is a package for him, he opens the mailbox, but finds nothing in it. Tom angrily closes the drawer door and is about to leave, but sees the parcel for Jerry and picks it up. Tears off part of her paper and sees a book that says "Life with Tom." Jerry comes out of his mink and goes to his inbox. Tom jumps over the bushes. Jerry takes the letter and leaves.
Tom crawls out of the bushes and hears a loud audience laugh on the radio. A voice in the radio says:
You hear everyone laughing at the new stunningly funny novel Life with Tom. This book is a new talented author Jerry Mouse. It can be bought everywhere. Be sure to buy Life with Tom. It is just something.
Tom completely tears the paper and sees the full title of the book. He opens the book and sees the preface: "Dedicated to Him, without whom my life would be beautiful." Tom flips through the book and stumbles upon chapter seven. Fragment from the cartoon " Cat Fishin ' ." The moment Tom made Jerry bait fish. But it all ends with Tom having to run away from Spike, who hit him on the head with a club. At the end of the chapter it is written: "Tom still thinks that he has caught a new species of dog fish."
Suddenly, Tom hears a loud friendly laugh. This is laughing Butch with his friends. Tom flips through the book and stumbles upon chapter eleven. The action of the chapter from the cartoon " The Little Orphan ". Tom is trying in every way to catch Jerry and his little nephew Nibbles, whom he invited for Thanksgiving dinner. However, his attempts are unsuccessful.
Tom viciously closes the book. But he hears laughter again. This time Spike laughs with his son Tyke. Tom flips through the book again and goes to chapter twenty. Kitty Foiled events when Tom tried to crush Jerry tied to rails on a toy train. But as a result, it falls into the ground due to the intervention of Jerry's new best friend, the Canary.
Someone else's laughter is heard again. Tom furiously goes to Jerry's mink and tears down the facade. Tom points a finger at Jerry's book, as if asking, “Did you write this?” And Jerry nods his head to confirm. Tom hits Jerry with a book, leaving a hole in the book. Angry Jerry shows Tom a letter and he reads it:
Dear Jerry! We are sending you a check in the amount of fifty thousand dollars. At your request, half of this amount is for your friend Tom. ' First National Bank. Twenty five thousand dollars for Tom's cat!
Looking at Jerry, Tom laughs sweetly and pats his head. Tom takes the book and from time to time turns over and laughs at what is written in the book. And Jerry has fun watching this.
