About the album
Friends! I am pleased to introduce you to the group, to get acquainted with which, I think, it will be pleasant to the inquisitive listener. Any first experience deserves approval, even if it is far from perfect. However, the disc that is offered to you, being the first collaboration, makes a strong impression (at least on me) and gives rise to its own “associations”.
Maybe because, apparently, my musical affections coincide with the hobbies of the authors of the disc (this is an experienced eye will immediately notice), and their taste for what they and I consider poetry is obvious? Maybe because the musicians have learned the sweetness of success with a mass audience, although they don’t like to remember it? Maybe because the feast of music and verse, new lyricism and careful arrangement, a serious general idea and an elegant embodiment of it against the background of the universal dance plague risks remaining a narrow friendly feast, where we all will poke each other with scientific fingers, giving compliments to ourselves ?
May be; but every question goes hand in hand, depending on potency, with one or several answers, and I prefer to modestly stand aside and, having avoided specifics, suggest that you work on yourself and define your own evaluation criterion, according to which lambs are separated from goats ...
I do not want this commercial boom disc, it may not happen, I wish you, the listeners, to achieve with its help success in the fight against the media, stubbornly seeking to eliminate the remnants of good taste from the public.
