Crater Description
The immediate neighbors of the crater are the Chebyshev crater in the north; Langmuir and Brower craters in the northeast and Leavitt crater in the southwest [2] . Selenographic coordinates of the center of the crater , diameter 105.8 km [3] , depth 2.87 km [4] .
During its existence, the crater has undergone significant wear, the crater shaft is rounded by subsequent impacts . The Buffon D satellite crater overlaps the northeastern part of the shaft. The western part of the shaft is almost completely destroyed. The inner slope of the shaft has traces of a terrace-like structure. The height of the shaft above the surrounding area is 1520 m [4] , the volume of the crater is approximately 11400 km³. [4] . The bottom of the crater bowl is rugged, especially in the eastern part. In the center of the bowl is a pair of peaks.
