Gritsko, Mikhail Vasilievich

Mikhail Vasilievich Gritsko (born June 9, 1948) is a Soviet and Russian test officer of a special military unit of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, captain of the 1st rank . Hero of the Russian Federation (1993).

Biography

Born on June 9, 1948 in the village of Bazancha, Tashtagolsky District, Kemerovo Region. Russian [1] .

In the Navy since August 1966. In June 1971 he graduated from the Pacific Higher Naval School named after S. O. Makarov [1] .

He served in the Red Banner Pacific Fleet: from August 1971 to November 1972 - the commander of a mine-torpedo warhead (BCh-3) of the K-136 submarine, from November 1972 to October 1973 - the assistant commander of K-139 . Since October 1973, he studied at the Higher Special Officer Classes of the Navy , which he graduated in July 1974. Member of the CPSU since 1974 [1] .

Returning to the Red Banner Pacific Fleet , from October 1974 to August 1977 he served as senior assistant commander of the K-139 . From the certification of M.V. Gritsko 1977: [1]

He has good organizational skills, highlights the main link in his work, in increasing the combat readiness of the ship, skillfully mobilizes personnel to solve the tasks facing the ship. Military-technical training is good. Much attention is paid to the study of the device of the ship, its weapons and technical means.

As part of the crews of submarines M.V. Gritsko repeatedly participated in long-distance campaigns in combat service [1] .

Since August 1977 he continued to serve in the special military unit of the Ministry of Defense of the USSR , and after the collapse of the Soviet Union , since 1992 - in the special military unit of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation [1] . The first commander of the nuclear deep-sea station AS-21 , which became part of the 29th separate submarine brigade of the Northern Fleet in 1991 [2]

On February 21, 1985, the captain of the 2nd rank M. Gritsko was awarded the military title “ Captain of the 1st rank ” [1] .

“For courage and heroism shown during the performance of a special task in conditions associated with a risk to life”, by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of August 18, 1993, 1st-rank captain Mikhail Gritsko was awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation with the Golden Star medal (No. 24) [1] .
