Fiziom

The term “ physiome ” is now commonly used to denote a physiological description of the state of an individual individual or an “average representative” of a biological species, or its functional behavior. The Physiome describes the physiological dynamics of a normal healthy organism based on information about its structure ( genome , proteome , and morphome). The term comes from "physio-" (nature) and "-ome" (in general).

In the broadest sense, this term should define relations at different levels of organization of a biological being: from the genome to the whole organism and from functional behavior in the regulation of genes. As part of the IUPS Physiome project, it includes integrated models of components of organisms, such as individual organs or cell systems, biochemical, or endocrine systems.
