Talmah

The church, built on an island by a monastery at the end of the 19th century

Talmakh ( 7th century ) - holy abbot from Lake Erk. Memorial Day - March 14th .

St. Talmach was a disciple of St. Finbar ( September 25 ), one of the twelve apostles of Ireland , who labored in the southern coastal part of Ireland. He lived on Lake Erk (Lough Erc) [1] , where he founded a monastery on the island, consecrated in honor of his teacher.
