Orlovskoye is a village in the Mikhailovsky rural district of the Volga rural settlement of the Rybinsk district of the Yaroslavl region [1] . On a 1941 map, the village is named Orlovo .

A small village is located on the left bank of the Cheryomukha River, which has steep banks of about 3 m in height on this site. Orlovskoye is the highest river in the series of closely located (less than 1 km away) villages on the left bank, Downstream, to the north The villages of Mikhalevo , Ivanovskoye and Akulinskoye are located on the east side. Upstream, to the southwest, at a distance of about 2 km is the village of Kolominskoe . Through these villages on the left bank of Cheryomukha there is a country road from Maksimovsky to Sretenie . On this site, along the left bank of Cheryomukha, there are small agricultural land, further from the river in the western direction begins a forest, about 4 km wide, beyond which the fields and villages of the Pokrovsky rural settlement begin. On the opposite bank, slightly upstream - Mologino , through which passes a highway with regular bus service [2] .
The village of Oryol is indicated on the plan of the General Land Survey of the Rybinsk district in 1792,
As of January 1, 2007, there were 4 permanent residents in the village [3] . A post office located in the village of Sretenie serves 17 houses in the village [4] .
