Description
The North Tashkent Canal originates in the Tashkent province near Tashkent , on the upper pool of the Nizhnebozsuyskaya-2 hydroelectric power station (HPP-18). Immediately after the departure, he (and Nizhny Bozsu) is crossed by a highway, departing from the Big Uzbek Highway to Damashi . A bit downstream is the Karasup poultry farm [2] .
The canal irrigates the lands of the Yangiyul fog of Tashkent region and Saryagash district of the South Kazakhstan region with a total area of 10,000 hectares. Due to the difficult terrain, the channel has many bends. In recent years, reconstruction has been carried out, due to which it is significantly straightened [3] .
