Biography
Lysenkov Alexey Maksimovich was born on September 19, 1916 in a peasant family in the village of Konstantinovka in the Tuymazinsky district of Bashkiria.
Russian. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1942. He graduated from 8 classes. He worked on a collective farm.
He was drafted into the Red Army in 1940 by the Tuymazinsky district military enlistment office of the Bashkir ASSR. Member of the Great Patriotic War since June 1941. In 1943, Alexei Maksimovich graduated from the Kiev Artillery School.
Battery commander of the self -propelled artillery regiment of the 1458th self-propelled artillery regiment ( 5th Guards Tank Corps , 6th Panzer Army , 2nd Ukrainian Front) Junior Lieutenant A. Lysenkov distinguished himself during the Korsun-Shevchenkovsky operation .
Lysenkov Alexei Maksimovich died the death of the brave on March 19, 1945 in the battle for the village of Guttamashi, northwest of the town of Szekesfehervar (Hungary) [1] [2] . He was buried in the same village [3] .
Feat
“In the February days of 1944, repelling enemy counterattacks, the A. Lysenkov battery destroyed 12 tanks and 2 guns in the villages of Tikhonovka and Yablonovka, Lysyansky district, Cherkasy region of Ukraine. In one of these battles, on February 23, 1944, Lysenkov placed his self-propelled guns in cover and well-aimed fire, destroyed a tank, 2 guns and up to 50 enemy soldiers and officers. The counterattack of the Nazis drowned ” [4] .
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of September 13, 1944, for the exemplary fulfillment of command assignments and the courage and heroism shown in battles with Nazi invaders, Lt. Lysenkov Alexei Maximovich was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal (No. 4267) ) [5] .
