The Shubin House is a wooden building (late 18th century) located in Irkutsk on Lapin Street. One of the oldest wooden houses in the city, according to some sources, is the oldest wooden house [1] . The house survived the fire of 1879 . Monument of architecture of federal significance.
In August 2012, the house was seized from private owners by court order, in December 2012 it was sold at auction to a private company, which assumed the obligation to restore the building and keep it in proper form [1] . But as of June 2015, no reconstruction work was carried out.
The house was completely demolished for reconstruction in September 2016. In the spring of 2017, the building reconstruction process began.
