Player Career
He played the position of a heavy forward . He studied at the University of Connecticut , in 1989 he was selected for the NBA draft under the 36th number by the Portland Trail Blazers team. He later played for the Phoenix Suns , Detroit Pistons , Golden State Warriors and New Jersey Nets . In total, the NBA spent 18 seasons. In 1993, Robinson was voted the best sixth NBA player . In 1994, he took part in the NBA All-Star Game , twice he joined the 2nd national team of all NBA defense stars ( 2000 and 2002 ). A total of 1380 games played in his career, which scored 19,591 points (an average of 14.2 per game), made 6,306 rebounds , 3,094 assists , 1,402 interceptions and 1,390 block-shots .
