Biography
Nikolai Feoktistovich Obukhov was born on May 21, 1921 in the village of Vlasovo [K 1] in a working class family.
Russian. Education is incomplete secondary. Since 1937 he lived in the city of Izhevsk (Udmurtia). He worked as a mechanic at an engineering plant .
In 1940, he was called up to the Red Army by the Izhevsk Military Commissariat of the Udmurt Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
Member of the Great Patriotic War since June 1941. Member of the CPSU (b) / CPSU since 1942.
Private Obukhov distinguished himself in September 1941 in the village of Lyubitovo (Krolevets district of Sumy region) [2] . At the end of 1941, he was seriously injured. He lay for several months in a hospital in Stary Oskol.
In 1943, N.F. Obukhov graduated from the first year of the V.I. Lenin Military-Political Academy , which, after evacuation from Moscow, was located in the city of Belebey (Bashkiria).
In 1944 he graduated from the Higher Military-Political Courses and fought again at the front. At the end of the war, Senior Lieutenant Obukhov was again injured.
Since 1953, Senior Lieutenant N.F. Obukhov - in stock. He lived in the city of Chernivtsi (Ukraine).
He died on November 11, 1990. He was buried at the Central cemetery in Chernivtsi [3] .
Feat
"Shooter of the 212nd airborne brigade (40th Army, South-Western Front) Private Obukhov, being reconnaissance in the village. Lyubitovo (Krolevetsky district of Sumy region) was surrounded on September 8, 1941, but, having shown courage, destroyed a group of Nazis with a grenade and broke away from his pursuers. On the night of September 9, 1941, as part of a group, he destroyed 2 enemy tanks ” [2] .
The title of Hero of the Soviet Union was awarded on November 20, 1941 [4] .
