Biography

Born January 12 (25), 1913 in Moscow. In 1933 he graduated from the Moscow College of Precise Industry. In 1932-1933, while studying, he worked as a designer in the Design Bureau of the Office of Military Inventions of the Red Army.

In 1933-1940 - designer of the Design Bureau of the aircraft plant number 1 ( Moscow ). He participated in the design and development of equipment for the I-15 , I-16 and I-153 fighters, R-5 and R-Z reconnaissance aircraft, and other aircraft. In 1940-1953 - designer, design engineer, deputy chief and chief of the equipment sector, head of the crew of the design bureau of the aircraft factory No. 51 ( Moscow , in 1941-1943 - the city of Novosibirsk ). He participated in the design and development of equipment for experimental fighters designed by N.N. Polikarpov , as well as for unmanned aerial projectiles designed by V.N. Chelomey .

In 1953-1958 - the head of the OKB brigade A.I. Mikoyan . He led the development of electrical equipment for the MiG-17 , MiG-19 , MiG-21 fighters and their modifications. In 1956 he graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute .

In July 1958 - July 1977 - Deputy Chief Designer of OKB-52 (since January 1967 - Central Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering ), in July 1977 - December 1979 - Deputy General Designer of Central Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering , and in December 1979 - January 1986 he was again Deputy Chief Designer of Central Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering (with January 1984 - NGO Engineering ). He created and for a long time led the instrumentation complex, which allows for the development, comprehensive analysis and testing of equipment for rocket and space systems. Under his leadership, more than 4,000 instruments, control systems and software mechanisms, more than 60 types of mechanized antennas that were used on cruise missiles for submarines, intercontinental ballistic missiles and launch vehicles, artificial satellites Proton-1, -2, -3 were created , -4 ” and orbital stations“ Salyut-2 , -3 , -5 ”.

In 1987-1989 - a leading designer of the Central Research Institute "Comet" . He participated in the development of various space information management systems and systems for special purposes.

He lived in Moscow . He died on December 17, 1994 . He was buried at the Don cemetery in Moscow.
