The genus Commodus was descended from Etruria . His father was the consul of 78 years old, bearing the same name . Commodus's spouse was Plavtiya. In their marriage, a son was born , named Lucius Zeyonii Commodus. Later he was adopted by the emperor Hadrian under the name of Lucius Elius Caesar.
In 106, Commodus held the post of ordinary consul . His colleague was Sextus Vettulen Zivika Tserial , who later married Plavtiya. Commodus further career unknown.
