The newspaper " Borba " (literally, Fight ) is a socio-political publication published by the Communist Party of Yugoslavia in Zagreb since 1922 . The newspaper was banned on January 13, 1929 after the introduction of the dictatorship in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia , then it went underground, including in the partisan Uzhitsky republic .

After the liberation of Belgrade, the newspaper began to appear in daily circulation. Well- known journalists and writers Zlatko Schneider , Vladimir Chopich , Ivan Krndel , Ognen Pritsa , Josip Crash , Veselin Maslesha , Marian Stilinovich , Punisha Perovich , Velko Vlahovich , Vlaiko Begovich , Lazar Moisov , Moma Markovich , Vladimir Deiler and Zdravko worked in it.
In 2008, the newspaper was privatized, and a year later it ceased to exist.
