Khre (Khre, Vietnamese. Tiếng Hrê, tiếng H'rê ) is a language of the North Bahnar group, spoken in central Vietnam .

Hre is spoken by people of the Hre people living in Quang Ngai province , in the ( Sơn Hà ) , ( Ba Tơ ) , ( Minh Long ) , in smaller numbers in Chabong ( Trà Bồng ) , Teycha ( Tây Trà ) , Shontei ( Sơn Tây ) , Nghiahan ( Nghĩa Hành ) , Tнngia ( Tư Nghĩa ) in Bindin , Anlao ( An Lão ) , and Konpong ( Kon Plong ) in Kontum [2] .
Khre is related to Bakhnar and especially [1] Sedanga . Carriers use the nodular letter [2] .
The percentage of literate carriers is 1% -5%; those who have learned the language are 15% -25%. Hre is officially recognized as the language of minorities, there are radio broadcasts and a partial translation of the Bible [1] .
