Zhambyl ( Kaz. Zhambyl , until 2010 - the village of Leninsky [1] ) - a village in the Temir district of the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan . It is part of the Temir city administration. The KATO code is 155621200 [2] .

The aul is located on the left bank of the Temir River, about 17 km south of the city of Temir .

Population

In 1999, the village population was 449 people (237 men and 212 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 307 people lived in the village (142 men and 165 women) [3] .
