The clan of barrels Stremfelt comes from Sweden and dates back to the XVII century. With the diploma of the Swedish King Charles XI of October 24, 1696, the Governor of Skaraborg, Herald Strömfelt, was elevated, with his descendants, to the baronial dignity of the Kingdom of Sweden.
By personal Highest Decree, dated March 13, 1865, the former Swedish citizen Baron Klass-Frederick Karlovich Strömfelt was accepted into Russian citizenship with the title of Baron of the Kingdom of Sweden with the granting of the rights of the Russian hereditary nobility to him. By the definition of the Governing Senate , dated November 1, 1866, it was approved in baronial dignity, with the introduction of Part V of the Genealogy Book, Klass-Frederick Karlovich Shtremfelt and his wife Sofia Alexandrovna (born Skrebitskaya).
Emblem Description
In the silver field are three azure wavy bands on the left.
On the shield a noble helmet with a windbreak . Crest: two horns: silver-azure and azure-silver. The bastard on the shield is silver, lined with azure.
