Faulkner was born in London . In the early stages of his career, he played in bands such as Dirty Deeds, Voodoo Six, Ace Mafia and Lauren Harris . On April 20, 2011 he replaced the departed Kenneth Downing in the heavy metal band Judas Priest . [one]

His first performance with the band took place on May 25, 2011 at the American Idol show , where the band played Living After Midnight and Breaking the Law with James Durbin . [2]
