Content
Biography
She studied at the Kiev Conservatory under M. Engel-Kron ; In 1927 she graduated from the Moscow Conservatory . She sang in the troupe of the Kiev Opera and Ballet Theater , since 1931 - in the troupe of the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater (Leningrad). During the Great Patriotic War , she was a soloist of the Leningrad Philharmonic Society , performed in concerts in military units and hospitals of Novosibirsk, where the Philharmonic society was then. In 1946 she toured in Austria and Czechoslovakia.
In 1948-1959 - soloist of the Bolshoi Theater . She also performed as a concert singer.
She was buried at Vostryakovsky cemetery .
Creativity
The concert repertoire included romances by Russian composers, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony (performed by E. A. Mravinsky ), cantatas “On the Field by Kulikov” by Y. Shaporin and “Alexander Nevsky” by S. Prokofiev .
