It lies 36.5 km northwest of Istra, on the shores of Lake Chudtsevsky, into which the Boldenka River flows and Nudol flows. The lake has an elongated shape (about 800 x 350 m). Prechistoe is located downstream of the Boldenka River, Bodrovo is higher, Kuchi is on the opposite bank, and its altitude is 227 m [2] .
In the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries it bore the name Tyutchevo, belonged to the princes Gagarin , then to the monastery, from 1764 - the state. Since the XVI century - a village, there was a church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, destroyed in troubled times , like the village itself (the church has not been restored since then), and Chudtsevo in the spring of 1627 is a wasteland. In 1678 - 7 yards, in 1705 - 10, in 1916 - 45 yards [3] .
