Henriette Ronde Mikkelsen ( Dat. Henriette Rønde Mikkelsen ; born September 21, 1980 , Nykobing-Morse ) is a Danish handball player who played in the left extreme position; 2004 Olympic champion, silver medalist at the 2004 European Championships in Hungary.

Club
A pupil of the club NIF / FLUIF. At the beginning of her career, she played for the NIF and Ikast-Bording teams. From 2003 to 2011 she defended the colors of the Viborg club, having won the Danish Championship five times, the Danish Cup five times and the ECF Champions League three times (in 2006, 2009 and 2010). She finished her career on November 16, 2011 after a cup match against the Randers club [1] [2] .
Team
She played 81 matches for the national team and scored 346 goals [3] . At the Olympics in Athens, she played 7 meetings, scored 15 goals and helped the team become the champion of the games, realizing a winning 7-meter hit in the final against the national team of South Korea [4] .
Personal life
She graduated from the Pedagogical University, she teaches at Skive College. Mads husband, daughter of Frida (born April 20, 2008).
Political Activities
Member of the Social Democratic Party of Denmark . She participated in the municipal elections in 2009 on November 17 , won 309 votes and successfully passed to the Viborg city council, having obtained one of ten mandates of the Social Democrats [5] .
