Content
Biography
Born in the village of Suslovo (now - Brasovsky district of the Bryansk region). In 1925 he graduated from the Leningrad Veterinary Institute . From 1925 to 1929 he worked as a veterinarian. Since 1929, at a scientific work on helminthology in various institutions. Member of the CPSU since 1941.
In 1954–1955 - Director of the Moscow Fur and Fur Institute , which was liquidated under him. According to historians with MPMI S. A. Korytin and V. A. Ignatiev, the appointment of Ershov to the post of director was part of a well-thought-out plan: his predecessor, the old Bolshevik I.M. Medvedev, was a patriot of the institute and had extensive connections at the top and could successfully resist the liquidation [1] .
Since 1957, Director of the All-Union Institute of Helminthology. K. I. Scriabin .
He was buried at Kuntsevsky cemetery [2] .
