Story
Housewife Lucia Harper mistakenly believes that her daughter Bea accidentally killed her former lover Darby, and tries to hide it from publicity. Martin Donnelly, who has links to organized crime, blackmails Lucia, threatening to take Beah and Darby's correspondence to the police. Difficulties begin when he falls in love with Lucia and discovers what really happened.
