Biography
He participated in the First World War . He worked as a correspondent for the newspaper Il Popolo d'Italia in Cremona . In November 1919 he organized the first fascist detachment in Cremona. In May 1921 he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies . July 3, 1922 proclaimed himself mayor of Cremona. From February 15, 1925 to March 30, 1926, the Secretary General of the National Fascist Party .
In 1927 he defended Bruneri in the scandalous case of Bruneri-Canella .
Since 1935, a member of the Great Fascist Council . As a volunteer, he participated in the Ethiopian war in 1935 and the Spanish Civil War . In 1938 received the rank of Minister of State. In 1941 - police inspector in Albania. After the fall of the regime, Benito Mussolini fled to the north of Italy. After the defeat of the Germans, it was captured by partisans and shot.
