Bostankum ( kaz. Bostanқұm ) is an abolished village in the Karakiy district of the Mangistau region of Kazakhstan . It was part of the Bostan rural district. It was abolished in 2018 [1] . It is located about 22 km northeast of the village of Bostan , the administrative center of the rural district. The KATO code is 474233200 [2] .

Not far from the village are the sands of the same name Bostankum .
Population
In 1999, the population of the village was 171 people (90 men and 81 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 193 people lived in the village (102 men and 91 women) [3] .
