Biography

Vadim Tolstopyatov was born in the village of Dukhovka [1] near Tambov . He stands for the Tambov region .

European Champion among youths (2000). At the Youth World Championships in 2002, he was a bronze medalist in the short distance and a silver medalist in the relay.

Silver medalist at the World Winter Championships (2007), winner of the European Summer Championships (2007), repeated champion of Russia in orienteering in skiing and running.

Graduated from Tambov State University .
