El Minnia ( Arabic: المنية ) is a city in northwestern Lebanon , in the province of Northern Lebanon . The administrative center of the region is Miniye-Denmark . Together with the locality Nabi Yukhiea ( Nabi Youchieaa ) forms a municipality, the area of which is 13.46 km², the population is 20 680 people ( 2008 ) [1] .

Geography
The city is located in the western part of the province, near the coast of the Mediterranean Sea , at a distance of approximately 5 kilometers northeast of the city of Tripoli and at a distance of 96 kilometers northeast of the country's capital Beirut . The absolute height is 38 meters above sea level [2] .
