Abduljavad Adib Nishapuri ( Persian عبدالجواد ادیب نیشابوری ; 1867 [1] , Nishapur - 1926 , Mashhad ) - Iranian theologian, literary critic, teacher and poet.

He came from a poor peasant family, studied in his native city of Nishapur, moved in 1880 to the city of Mashhad, where he lived until the end of his life. He taught Arabic, literature and theology, wrote a number of essays on Arab-Persian poetry and commentaries on theological treatises. He also wrote poetry, following the traditions of the early Iranian classics; his sofa was published posthumously in 1954 . He was a teacher of the poet Behar.
