Biography
Hermann Otto Hilbig was born on May 7, 1860 in the city of Krefeld in the Rhine Province of Prussia to the family of the architect Gustav Ferdinand Alexander Hilbig .
He graduated from the Riga Polytechnic School (1882), studied at the Berlin Higher Technical School (1882-1883). Since 1884 - Riga architect, in 1893 opened his own architectural office. He was an associate professor at the Riga Polytechnic School (1886–1893) and the Baltic Technical Institute (1918).
He died in Riga on April 17, 1939 [1] . He was buried in the Great Cemetery in Riga.
