Geography
The absolute height is 168 meters above sea level [1] . Located near the Ganges River , 42 km from Bareyli , 175 km from Agra , 220 km from Delhi and 298 km from Lucknow .
Population
According to data for 2013, the population is 185,918 people [2] . Hindus make up 51% of the city’s population, Muslims - 46%, Jains - 1.7%, representatives of other religions - 1.3%. In the area of the Old City, the proportion of Muslims reaches 93%. The most common languages in Badown are Hindi and Urdu .

Economics

Famous Natives
Nizamuddin Aulia was born in Badayun, one of the most significant Sufi saints from the Chishti order.
