Biography
Born July 26, 1926 in the city of Leningrad (since 1965 - a hero city, since 1991 - St. Petersburg ). Education is incomplete secondary.
In the Navy since 1942. He graduated from high school. Member of the Soviet-Japanese war of 1945 .
An electrician of frigate No. 34 (brigade of patrol ships, Pacific Fleet ) Komsomol member Red Navy Vladimir Moiseenko in battles for the city of Seishin ( Chongjin , North Korea ), from August 13 to 16, 1945, acting as part of a naval landing, grenade blew six bunkers and two dugout , destroyed several enemy soldiers and officers.
The Red Navy officer Moiseenko V.G. was the first to burst into the trenches on a hill and put down a machine gun with grenades, which interfered with the advancement of Soviet marines.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of September 14, 1945 for exemplary performance of command missions at the front of the fight against Japanese militarists and the courage and heroism shown to the Red Navy, Moiseenko Vladimir Grigoryevich was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal (No. 7163).
After the war, the sailor continued his service in the Pacific Fleet, in the 7th separate division of minesweepers, which for many years was based in Sovetskaya Gavan Bay in Severnaya Bay.
