Svetlana Khaustova was born and raised in the Kemerovo region . In 1985-1990 - student of the Krasnoyarsk Technical University .

Trainers - ZTRF A.Yu. Bliznevsky and ZTRrf V.S. Bliznevskaya .

Champion of Russia (1993, 1994, 1995, 1996), absolute champion of Russia (1997).

Winner of the World Championships 1996 (3rd place in the sprint, 2nd place in the relay) and 2000 (3rd place in the relay).

Since 1998, engaged in auto-orientation.
