Biography

Born in the family of the metallurgical scientist V.P. Elyutin .

He graduated from MISiS in 1960. Since 1960, he has been working at the State Scientific Research and Design Institute of the rare-metal industry ( Giredmet ). He held the positions of Junior, Senior Researcher, Head of the Sector, Deputy Director for Research, Director of the Institute. In 2006-2012. - Advisor to the Director of the Institute.

At the Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys A.V. Elyutin headed the department. Under his leadership, prepared more than 10 candidates of science.

A.V. Elyutin, co-author of more than 400 scientific papers, including a monograph, about 170 inventions.

He was a member of the editorial boards of the journals Non-Ferrous Metals and Chemical Technology.

He was a member of the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the physicochemical foundations of semiconductor materials science and the functional materials section for electronic equipment of the IAAS Scientific Council on new materials.

He was buried in Moscow at the Troekurovsky cemetery [1] .
