Prigorodnoye ( Kaz. Prigorodnoye ) is a village in the Shortandy district of the Akmola region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center of the Suburban Rural District. It is located about 53 km west of the center of the village of Shortandy . The KATO code is 116849100 [1] .

In 1999, the village population was 1,056 people (516 men and 540 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census, 933 people lived in the village (451 men and 482 women) [2] .
