Georg Handel enjoyed authority in his field. In 1645, he was officially appointed surgeon of the castle area of Gibichenstein [3] . In 1682, Handel's wife died of the plague. The following year, he married Dorothea, the daughter of a priest. Georg Friedrich Handel was born in 1685, when his father was 63 years old [4] . Later, three more children were born in the Handel family.
For George Friedrich, his father outlined a lawyer career and did not approve of his craving for music, which the boy discovered in early childhood. However, when the Duke Johann Adolf I noticed the talent of the boy and advised George Handel to promote the musical education of his son, his father gave George Friedrich to music lessons [2] . On February 11, 1697, Georg Handel passed away. The son did not have time to see his father before his death.
